CULTURE CRAWL

A Program of Encinitas Friends of the Arts

Public art can define the character of a city and create community. Encinitas is home to a vibrant mix of public art located in City of Encinitas buildings, libraries and parks, in the community, at freeway undercrossings, along Coast Hwy 101, and even at the homes of residents. You can experience sculptures, mosaics, murals, and more.

The Encinitas Friends of the Arts Culture Crawl is your ticket to see public art up close and in person. Walking tours are led by experienced (and fun) docents who have a wealth of knowledge about the artwork, including the history of the piece, information about the artists, and more. You might even meet one of the artists. Tours last up to 2 hours. Comfortable shoes, sunscreen and hats are recommended. Plus, it’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors and increase your daily step total!

To participate in an upcoming tour, email your interest to EFA.
