Rumi Fables On August 23!

A unique celebration of Persian culture will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Encinitas Library (540 Cornish Drive Encinitas, 92024) beginning with exotic teas and sweets. You will be serenaded by DorNobs formed in 1985, who specialize in cross-generational Persian dastgah music, playing avant-garde twists on classical Persian music. The featured event of the night is a reading and theatrical rendering form the book of Dr. Nagar Nizai, Rumi Fables who will be in attendance to sign books at the close of the evening. Ceramic Sculpture by Lilly Pourat, Persian carpets and a special video of Persian classical dance by Banafsheh Sayyad will make this a full sensory experience.
